Elliott 2011 Year-End Updates (W-2 & 1099)

This year, there's a new requirement to send "Employer-Sponsored Health Coverage Cost" information with W-2 electronic file. If you are required to file W-2 electronically, then you will need this update. A new field was added in the 2nd Screen of Payroll Employee file maintenance for "38. YTD Cost of Employer-Sponsored Health Coverage(W2)". The information you entered for the employee will be sent through W2 Electronic file. If you only need to print W-2 hard copy, there's no change to the W-2 printing format this year. There are no changes to the 1099 form.
