	How to Use BUTIL to Fix A Btrieve Data File
	

The following is an example for how to fix the CPORDHDR.BTR (COP Order Header) file:

(1) From the DOS prompt type "Bload" to load your btrieve driver.

(2) From \MACOLA\DATA directory, type

BUTIL -RECOVER CPORDHDR.BTR CPORDHDR.DAT
REN CPORDHDR.BTR CPORDHDR.OTR

(3) Type "Bunload" to unload your btrieve driver.

(4) From the \MACOLA root directory, start your Macola\Elliott application.

(5) Use the File Utility to initialize the "COP Order Header File (CPORDHDR)".

(6) Exit Macola and type "Bload" to load your btrieve driver.

(7) Change directories to \MACOLA\DATA. Type

BUTIL -LOAD CPORDHDR.DAT CPORDHDR.BTR

(8) Type "Bunload" to unload your btrieve driver.

(9) From the \MACLA root directory, start your Macola application.

(10) Check to if your COP Order Header file is fixed. If it is OK, you can delete the backup file   
       CPORDHDR.OTR from the disk.
